The room was clean and tidy, though I found the pillows to be a bit on the thicker side for my liking. However, the cozy studio setup was comfortable overall, and the patio overlooking the stunning surroundings was a definite highlight. One aspect that stood out was the inclusion of free Wi-Fi in rooms, a necessity for staying connected while on the go. the room also featured a well-equipped kitchenette and an electric kettle, making it easy to whip up a quick meal or enjoy a hot cup of tea. In terms of value, Shotover Lodge strikes a good balance between affordability and luxury. With its convenient location, comfortable amenities, and welcoming hosts, it is a solid choice for budget-conscious travelers looking to experience the beauty of Queenstown without breaking the bank.
